These are some of our favorite recipes, mostly from Cooking Light, but we tend to edit portions and ingredients
that suit our taste buds (e.g. when a recipe calls for 1 minced garlic clove, we use about 4 :) ).
Other recipes are passed down from family and friends.
Enjoy!

Poke Cake

My big sis has this recipe on her recipe blog, and I make it so often that I figured I should put it on ours too! You can use any kind of cake and Jello/pudding combination (we've done a chocolate cake with cherry Jello and pudding before ~ YUM!)

Ingredients:
1 baked white sheet cake cooled
1 cup boiling water
1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Lemon Flavor Gelatin
1 cup cold milk
1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Lemon Flavor Instant Pudding
3 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

Preparation:
1. Pierce cakes with large fork at 1/2-inch intervals.
2. Add boiling water to gelatin mix; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Carefully pour over cake layers. Refrigerate 3 hours.
3. Beat milk and pudding mix with whisk 2 min. Gently stir in COOL WHIP; frost cake with pudding mixture. Refrigerate 1 hour before serving. Refrigerate leftovers.
