These are some of our favorite recipes, mostly from Cooking Light, but we tend to edit portions and ingredients
that suit our taste buds (e.g. when a recipe calls for 1 minced garlic clove, we use about 4 :) ).
Other recipes are passed down from family and friends.

Brown Rice with Sesame

This is a nice variation to regular rice, and we had it as a side with Spicy Basil Chicken ~ yum!


Yield: Serves 4 (serving size: about 3/4 cup)
Total: 18 Minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked instant brown rice
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
 
Preparation:
1. Cook rice according to package directions, omitting fat. Stir in juice and salt. Sprinkle with seeds.
