These are some of our favorite recipes, mostly from Cooking Light, but we tend to edit portions and ingredients
that suit our taste buds (e.g. when a recipe calls for 1 minced garlic clove, we use about 4 :) ).
Other recipes are passed down from family and friends.
Enjoy!

Blueberry Blender

Cooking Light says: "This tasty drink is loaded with antioxidants. Serve it chilled, or blend with a few ice cubes just before serving."
* I mixed it with equal parts tonic water to give it some fizz, which doubled the servings to 8.
* We also saved the strained solids to mix into yogurt or smoothies.

Yield: 4 servings (serving size: about 1 cup)
Ingredients:
3 cups fresh orange juice
1/4 cup honey
1 pint fresh or frozen blueberries
1 medium cucumber, quartered

Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. Cover and chill 8 hours or overnight. Strain the mixture through a sieve into a medium bowl, pressing solids with a wooden spoon or a rubber spatula to squeeze out juice; discard solids.
